1. Hidden Content

Top of our list of black hat SEO techniques is hidden content. Hidden content comes in many forms,  but the basic principle is that within the code for the site there will be content stuffed with keywords, this content will not be visible to the end user of the site.

One way of doing this is by using comment tags.

Comment tags look like this;

<!– Comment Tag –>

The real purpose of comment tags is for developers/webmasters to add in useful reminders within their code explaining what that piece of code does.

Here’s an example of the comment tag being used correctly,

<!– Start of the Main Content –>

Here’s an example of a comment tag being used Blackhat in a bid to promote a hypothetical page targeting search engine optimization.

<!—Search engine optimization, SEO, professional search engine optimization company, spamming search engines –>

Another popular way of hiding content is the use of the <noscript> tag. The <noscript> tag should be used to inform a user that a script is being used but their browser either doesn’t support the script language used or they have that function turned off.

Here’s an example of the <noscript> tag being used correctly,

<script type=”text/javascript”>
<!–
document.write(”Hello World!”)
//–>
</script>
<noscript>Your browser does not support JavaScript!</noscript>

Here’s an example of the <noscript> tag being used as a black hat SEO technique again in a bid to promote a hypothetical page but this time targeting car rentals.

<noscript>
AJAX Car Rental Company does Car Rental which is very affordable so if you want to hire a car call our car rental firm because we are the best car hire rental in the world
</noscript>

Other HMTL tags misused in similar ways include the <noframes> tag and hidden inputs in forms.

Content can also be hidden from the end user by using CSS, excessively small text and coloured text on the same coloured background.

All of these techniques are frowned upon by search engines and if detected can mean your website will be penalised or even banned. To the untrained eye it can be very difficult to spot the use of some of these techniques.

2. Meta Keyword Stuffing

There are two Meta tags that are generally used to inform search engines of the content on the page. They reside between the <head> tag of a page and when used incorrectly they can alert a search engine that a site is using spam techniques in an attempt to improve its ranking.

Meta Description

The meta description should be used to describe the content of your page honestly and concisely and be 1 or 2 sentences, 3 at most.

Here’s an example of the meta description being used in the correct manner,

<meta name=”description” content=”CoJV is an Online Marketing agency providing a full range of digital marketing services throughout Greater Chicago and all of the Midwest. If you need Search Engine marketing (SEM), Search Engine Optimization (SEO) or Pay per Click (PPC), we can help you. Contact us now.” />

Here’s an example of the meta description tag being used Blackhat for a page promoting a restaurant called “Imaginary”,

<meta name=”description” content=”Imaginary restaurant website is the best Imaginary restaurant website, our restaurant is better than any restaurant, great restaurant, best food restaurant, visit our restaurant” />

3. Meta Keywords

Meta Keywords should be a short list of words that inform of the main focus of the page. Meta keywords have been so misused in the past that there are few if any search engines that take any heed of them.

Here’s an example of the meta keywords being used in the correct manner,

<meta
name=”Keywords” content=”Online marketing, digital marketing, search
marketing, search engine marketing, e-mail marketing, SEO” />

Here’s an example of the meta keywords tag being used Blackhat for a page promoting a restaurant called “Imaginary”,

<meta name=”keywords” content=”Restaurant,restaurants,food,feed,take away food,fast food,junk food,eat,eating
out,dinner,dining,meal,eating,Imaginary,steak and chips,chicken and chips,pie and chips,pudding,desert,big restaurant,small restaurant,best restaurant,great restaurant, exclusive restaurant,cocktails,wine,drink,pizza,salads”>

4. Doorway or Gateway Pages

Doorway or Gateway pages are pages designed for search engines and not for the end user. They are basically fake pages that are stuffed with content and highly optimised for 1 or 2 keywords that link to a target or landing page. The end user never sees these pages because they are automatically redirected to the target page.

Low Tech Delivery

There are various ways to deliver doorway pages. The low-tech way is to create and submit a page that is targeted toward a particular phrase. Some people take this a step further and create a page for each phrase and for each search engine.

One problem with this is that these pages tend to be very generic. It’s easy for people to copy them, make minor changes, and submit the revised page from their own site in hopes of mimicking any success. Also, the pages may be so similar to each other that they are considered duplicates and automatically excluded by the search engine from its listings.

Another problem is that users don’t arrive at the goal page. Say they did a search for "golf clubs," and the doorway page appears. They click through, but that page probably lacks detail about the clubs you sell. To get them to that content, webmasters usually propel visitors forward with a prominent "Click Here" link or with a fast meta refresh command.

By the way, this gap between the entry and the goal page is where the names "bridge pages" and "jump pages" come from. These pages either "bridge" or "jump" visitors across the gap.

Some search engines no longer accept pages using fast meta refresh, to curb abuses of doorway pages. To get around that, some webmasters submit a page, and then swap it on the server with the "real" page once a position has been achieved.

This is "code-swapping," which is also sometimes done to keep others from learning exactly how the page ranked well. It’s also called "bait-and-switch." The downside is that a search engine may revisit at any time, and if it indexes the "real" page, the position may drop.

Another note here: simply taking meta tags from a page ("meta jacking"), does not guarantee a page will do well. In fact, sometimes resubmitting the exact page from another location does not gain the same position as the original page.

There are various reason why this occurs which go beyond this article, but the key point to understand is that you aren’t necessarily finding any "secrets" by viewing source code, nor are you necessarily giving any away.

Agent Delivery

The next step up is to deliver a doorway page that only the search engine sees. Each search engine reports an "agent" name, just as each browser reports a name.

The advantage to agent name delivery is that you can send the search engine to a tailored page yet direct users to the actual content you want them to see. This eliminates the entire "bridge" problem altogether. It also has the added benefit of "cloaking" your code from prying eyes.

Well, not quite. Someone can telnet to your web server and report their agent name as being from a particular search engine. Then they see exactly what you are delivering. Additionally, some search engines may not always report the exact same agent name, specifically to help keep people honest.

IP Delivery / Page Cloaking

Time for one more step up. Instead of delivering by agent name, you can also deliver pages to the search engines by IP address, assuming you’ve compiled a list of them and maintain it.

Everyone and everything that accesses a site reports an IP address, which is often resolved into a host name. For example, I might come into a site while connected to AOL, which in turn reports an IP of 199.204.222.123 (FYI, that’s not real, just an example). The web server may resolve the IP address into an address: ww-tb03.proxy.aol.com, for example.

The Page Cloaking article available to BlackhatBUZZ members provides more information about page cloaking, including links to cloaking software providers.
Click here to learn more about becoming a member

If you deliver via IP address, you guarantee that only something coming from that exact address sees your page. Another term for this is page cloaking, with the idea that you have cloaked your page from being seen by anyone but the search engine spiders.

5. Link Farming

Link farms or free for all (FFA) pages have no other purposes than to list links of unrelated websites. There are many service providers who promise to help you boost your Link Popularity by automatically entering you into Link Exchange programs they operate, often linking your page with Web sites that have nothing to do with your content. However, search engines such as Google consider link farming as a form of spam and have been implementing procedures to banish sites that participate in link farming, so be careful.

Probably one of the easiest (legitimate) ways to make money when it comes to CPA is incentive marketing.

The problem is, virtually everyone trying to get into it just copies everyone else and expects to make a profit, not unlike every other strategy to make some cash out there.

You probably hear a lot how incentive marketing "won’t last" or it’s "the end of incentive marketing".

Funny how the people who say things like this are always the ones whose opinions are completely worthless.

Incentive offers make companies big money, the consumer data alone allows them to make a fortune selling one thing after another to these people, or just renting the list to other companies who want to try and sell these people things.

After all, these customers took an incentive to try a product, and sure, maybe it was just for the cash, or to get an ipod, but what these companies are really paying for is the mindset of a person who would do such a thing in the first place, in laymen’s terms, they are an easy sell on multiple fronts, the proverbial weak minded consumer.

Over the last few years, I’ve seen a lot of ebooks being put out on "how to make a fortune with incentive marketing". Every single one of them says the same crap:

Get an incentive site script

Load it with CPA offers

Promote it

Make a fortune

071607 ipod 300x225 Incentive to Make Money            If it was five years ago, that alone could probably make you a couple grand a day in profits, consumers thought it was a dream come true to get free money or free gifts to sign up for a few free trials, the blackhatters weren’t hip to it yet and trying to beat the system, and people generally filled out their real information and took the full trial.

But…………..   It’s not five years ago.

Today, you have to get crafty, but a couple grand a day in net profits is still more than realistic if you’re willing to do a little work.

Let’s quickly highlight the main points of what you need to accomplish:

  •  Number one, legitimacy is KEY. These sites are now known to be mostly scams where the consumer does offer after endless offer only to give up, obviously never getting the gift, and word has spread about this. If you can’t look legit, you can’t make any money. My strategy really doesn’t make legitimacy the issue it normally is, but it will only help your bottom line so it’s non negotiable.
  •  Your target audience is no longer freebie seekers, let that sink in. Freebie seekers are nothing but trouble, they are bad leads, there is now a huge business based around being a freebie seeker (see freelunchroom.com/projectpayday.com), and just everything about the typical freebie site model and user is an absolute nightmare.
  •  Your target audience has changed so now the target site has changed. Gone are the days of throwing up a script, dumping in offers and promoting free ipods. The big money is and has always been in thinking outside the box, so that’s how we are going to roll out our sites.

Ipods, Xbox, Playstations and Cash…..It’s over, just accept it and move on. If you’re going to be another cookie cutter site, expect a cookie cutter outcome.

The new key to success is to go much smaller and much more targeted.

Your sites will only offer ONE gift (typically under $60), one targeted completely unique but in demand gift, think:

  • A new national best seller

  • A new in demand skin cream

  • A magazine subscription

  • A cool NEW cooking tool

I could sit here all day on the list alone, I’m just trying to get some raw examples in your head to start the correct thought process.

You could go about this one of two ways, sub domains working off one main site such as PeopleMagazine.GetItForFree.com, or you could make a unique site for each gift to make it more appealing to the user, be able to optimize it with its own blog or forum (I’ll get into this in the Dominate IM forum), and have the option to sell it off for a nice profit if you choose.

One of the other HUGE drawbacks on both the consumer side and the merchant side, and the fundamental flaw in the system of incentive marketing is that typically, a person either has to do dozens of offers to get the free gift, most of which they could care less about, or they have to refer tons of friends, who are probably only registering to shut their friend up and have no real interest either.

The consumer gets screwed because the process sucks for them, they either have to sign up for a million offers, deal with cancellations, and spam, or they have to humiliate themselves by trying to sell their friends on signing up so they can get a lousy ipod.

The merchant gets screwed because they have so many people signing up that could care less about their product or service. As I mentioned above, yes, you better believe they still make serious money, but it could be a lot more, and that would also allow them to pay you more for incentivised customers.

The incentive site owner gets screwed because they have to deal with miserable administrative work dealing with all these schmucks including the CPA networks, they often get scrubbed huge each month for bad leads risking actually going into the red after advertising expenses already paid out, they deal with scammers and cheats all day, and the shelf life of their site will often times be less than six months before CPA networks wont accept their leads anymore.

My structure, however, solves everyone’s problems and I’m not shy about saying it.

Consider the following:

By promoting one targeted gift (let’s just run with my people magazine subscription as the example) we target a normal person, who is interested in the subscription yes, but would also generally be willing to take a free trial of something they find interesting if they could get that subscription free.

They would only have to complete 1-3 simple free offers at the MAX to get this free one year subscription, pay your advertising costs, and leave you with a nice profit in your hands.

They would not have to refer ANY friends to receive their free gift.

The offers on the site would be demographic targeted and plentiful. What’s that mean? It means we would target the offers we promote to the demographic of the person who would want that gift, aka People Magazine, so females, 18-45, who are into entertainment and fashion. We would also make sure there were a few dozen offers to choose from so that odds are good the user will be able to take a trial with something they actually may enjoy.

The merchant gets great quality customers trying their products. These customers did not set out to get a freebie, they were looking to BUY something, and thanks to your add jumping in front of them, decided to try a new product or two (that they actually could have some interest in) to get it free.

The site owner deals with far less admin, fraud, and general bullshit from the networks and merchants, their sites may make smaller profits singularly than a typical large incentive sites, but the shelf life could be years, and they can create literally thousands of sites offering virtually anything as a free gift.

Even though the user didn’t HAVE to refer friends, you better believe they will be talking about how they got a free subscription to People for taking a free trial of a diet pill or skin creme, and no advertising my friends, is more powerful than good old word of mouth.

You’re also instantaneously solving one of the biggest trust issues with typical consumer incentive marketing, the BIG gifts.

What’s more realistic to you?:

I’ll give you a free $500 Playstation 3 just for doing a few free offers and telling your friends!!!!!

Or:

We’d like to offer you a free one year subscription to People Magazine just for taking a free trial of ????????

Pretty obvious right? The bigger the prize, the less likely people will believe they can really have it. That’s why I like to stay under a $60 value, many times under $10. You’d probably be amazed how many women would take a free trial for a free Cover Girl Mascara that they like.

Men are no exception, they can be bribed, but they are far more pessimistic than women. I typically suggest targeting your sites primarily to women at first because they are a much easier sell and you need to get comfortable with the business model before venturing into more difficult customers.

I’m saving a lot of detail for the forum so I can answer questions live, but the last seed I would like to plant on this is yet another thing no one is ever willing to talk about.

With the right site, you can write your own ticket, meaning that CPA networks are not the only option; advertisers will be willing to give you direct offers if your traffic is good and that is serious money.

You can literally go straight to tens of thousands of companies who’s products/services fit the lifestyle of your typical user and say "Hey, I can get you hundreds of new quality customers per month if you are willing to offer a trial to them, and I have the data and references to prove it".

Legal Cookie Stuffing

Posted by admin under General

This is a little trick that can be used to make thousands of dollars a month driving traffic to simple review pages for affiliate products. It is almost too simple to take seriously, but try it and see for yourself.

Cookie stuffing doesn’t always have to be against the terms of service. I constantly get permission from merchants to cookie stuff my link on my own pages.

The bottom line is that you are spending time and money to get potential customers to your landing page/affiliate link, so therefore, if they buy, you deserve the commission.

The problem with affiliate links is that almost everyone knows what they are these days, and I don’t care what you do to pretty them up.

Regardless if it’s:

www.domain.com/ref?aff=1287 (says I’m an affiliate who has no idea what I’m doing)

or

www.tinyurl.com/brb18s (says i’m an affiliate that makes no money because you’ll never click this)

or

www.mydomain.com/recommends/youngteenagechicks (says I may have power link generator but people still know what I’m trying to pull)

or even………….

www.domain.com secretly embedded with your affiliate link (says I’m at least sneaky about it but you were also smart enough to hover the mouse over)

A good percentage of the time you are losing the chance at those visitors because you have now lost credibility instantly.

The rest of the time is spent losing the commission because the buyer just hacks your affiliate link off the domain, or does a type in.

People today are so against you making money that even if you do get them to click an embedded cloaked link like xyxyxyxy, once they see what the site is they will actually delete their cookies and visit again so your cookie is in the trash can.

If instead of the above, you did a review site or landing page that told the user to go to www.domain.com with no affiliate link, it looks like a real deal review.

I only use this for high traffic sites like a webcams.com, buy.com or new hot IM products that are gaining a buzz.

The whole point is that the person knows instantly that its not an affiliate link, yet it doesn’t matter because as soon as they landed on your page they were stuffed with your cookie.

This also works fantastically because a lot of times a person will search multiple sites looking for information and yours is seldom the one that causes the sale right then and there.

Luckily, since you stuffed that cookie, and that visitor probably won’t be clicking any affiliate links, they will simply do a type in like www.commissionblueprint.com when they decide to buy a couple of hours or days later, and guess what?

You still got the commission.

What’s most comical about this is that I really didn’t want to give this little gem up, but you’re probably thinking it’s a waste of time or at least something you’ll save for a lot later.

It’s a shame because if I didn’t make the money I do from other streams, this one tactic would be my full time job and I could easily earn $300,000 or more a year setting up stuffed page after stuffed page.

One of the best ways to do this is to look like a total noob, and by that I mean set up a blog called something stupid like www.darwinscoolblog.com.

Instead of your typical review site page put up just for a specific product, make it a blog post as if you bought the product, use the service, etc and make it seem like you are just having general conversation about it.

The point of this step is actually psychological. Even without an affiliate link your URL is www.whatevertheproductisreview.com, and you are advertising it, your visitors will know that something is up, and if nothing else, assume you probably own the product and are promoting it yourself.

If it’s just some random blog, many people will assume you’re just promoting it for readership and not whatever post they happened to land on. This, in their minds, makes you an unbiased third party on the subject.

Everyone thinks cookie stuffing is mainly for ebay and that it has to be illegal in the eyes of the merchant, and that’s just not the case, nor is it the smart way to utilize such an amazing income generating tool.

The top two goals of any marketer are more money and more time. At least they should be their two top goals. That being said, I wanted to integrate both of these things into my Article Marketing business. And, that’s exactly what I accomplished.
I developed this method a little over a month ago. However, I wanted to actually test it for a month before I released it. Here are my final results:

$4,300 revenue (Roughly)
4 hours worked (Roughly, excluding time you won’t have to spend)

I’d say that’s pretty damn good if you ask me. Would you work 4 hours (of easy work) for $4k? And, it’s passive residual. Meaning, it keeps flowing in (passive) and it grows (residual). I guarantee that from the work done in December, I’ll keep seeing income from the articles submitted for probably over a year.

This method is going to be a bit detailed, as I don’t want any people attempting it coming back and complaining it doesn’t work. Even if you don’t complain, I still would like it to work for whoever goes and does it. It’s definitely worth it. If you’re having problems funding PPC/PPV campaigns, this can be your “funding money”…
In a nutshell, you’ll be getting free articles by splitting your commissions with freelance writers. If you’re rich already, paying for articles may be worth it to you. However, most of us aren’t that rich. And even if I was, I don’t know if I’d want to buy 1,000 articles at $5 – $15 a piece.

I’ve also tried “Scamming” people out of articles. That doesn’t work that well, and is definitely NOT a long term solution. You risk the hot headed freelance writers getting “too” pissed off at you and reporting you. Trust me, not a smart thing to do for a long period of time.

So, splitting commissions is the best way to go. Everything is free, so this shouldn’t be a problem. You’re doing very, very little work.
So, let’s get started:

1. You’ll obviously be getting freelance writers for classifieds sites. Craigslist is all that is needed, as it’s a little difficult to work with a large amount of people. I personally only worked with 2 people. However, I’ll be developing my own personal system that will allow me to work with over 100 – 500 people, easily. So, what you’re going to want to do is make a Craigslist ad (preferably in your own area if you live in the U.S.). Always, always keep your ad professional. Proper structure, grammar, use of words, etc. Nothing’s worse than a poorly written ad. Be honest and straightforward in your ad. I’m not going to post the exact ad I used, but it’s fairly simple. You’re looking for a few article writers to write articles for you based on a revenue sharing commission structure. You can lie and tell them that previous writers earn roughly $2 – $5k a month. No cost to get started, and will be able to see their articles published on the web. Keep it short and simple.

2. After the posting, if you’ve done it right, you’ll get a few hundred emails. At least I did. Instead of having an auto-responder, I just copy/pasted a pre-written response. All I did was replace their name at the top and bottom. (Eg. Hey ____ and Talk again soon _____) Obviously, the email response will detail the project more and then ask if they have any questions.

3. After they’ve responded to the first email response, I have a pre-written 2nd response to go with it. Along with that response, I’ll read over their first email and answer any questions they may have. The 2nd response starts with questions they have, and then a “Here’s a little bit more detail about everything”. And again, will ask them if they have any questions to get started.

4. If they’ve responded to the 2nd email, you’ve pretty much got them. At least I did.

Now basically what I’m describing to you now is what you’ll be describing to them. Which start with how you should have them write your articles.

• Offers
However, before you can have them write articles, you need an offer and keywords to go with it. The offer doesn’t really matter that much, so I’m not going to go into what offers/niche’s to target. However, I would advise you don’t target brand new offers. If it’s a brand related offer and the merchant shuts down or pulls their aff. program off the network – you’ve got a problem. Especially if all the articles list the brand name. If you find a “related” product to switch out your links on your site instead, then all the articles will ideally need to be changed to the new brand name. With 500+ articles floating around – that’s a bit of a task. So, stick to things that will be around for at least a year. And a good way to tell is by looking at how long they’ve already been around.

• Keywords

This is one of the most important things. If you’ve done article marketing or SEO – it’s all about keywords. You’re not going to be throwing up random articles and hoping for them to rank for random keywords. You should, and will be targeting each article for specific keywords and specific search engines. One article that ranks on Yahoo! may not rank on Google. All search engines have trends. Follow the trend and you’re golden. But, I’ll get into that a little more down the road. But for now, you need to get keywords for your niche. Ideally, you’d want to rank for heavy searched for keywords. However, those are a bit harder to rank for. So, you need more long-tail keywords as well. What I do is go into Google AdWords keyword tool, punch in the most generic phrase related to my offer and get ALL the results in the first section (which means all the results contain the word(s) I put in the search box. The second section is “related” terms) So for example, if my offer was free grant money, I’d type in free grants, free grant, grant money –etc – and get all the keywords.

Once I have all the keywords, I use a proprietary piece of software to determine the competition for each keyword. I personally like to start from the bottom up. I like seeing results first. And with low competition (which most of the time result in low search counts), you can see results faster. I’ve seen some guides and posts regarding not doing it this way, but I find it best. If you have your writers write 20 articles on high competition or medium competition searches and they don’t show up 1st, that can be “disappointing” to them. Even if you get them ranked #1 for a less searches for term, it’s still awesome to them to be #1 on the search engines. Remember, they know nothing about SEO, so THEIR content as #1 for a search is “amazing” to them. It fascinates them.
For those that don’t have software to use for analyzing competition, you can download a “FREE trial” of SENuke at SEnuke.com You can use the competition analyzer for free – forever. Without ever having to actually buy the program. It may shut down on you, but all you have to do is restart the program – but that’s only if you’re going to use the software for more than about 10 minutes.

• How to Write Your Articles

It’s not “all about” ranking #1 on search engines. Unfortunately, you can’t really split-test 2 different articles. If you change your content, there’s a good chance the search engine(s) will knock you down. I’ve done it maybe a dozen times, and every single time I was knocked down the page, or knocked it off completely. That being said, you should have a general knowledge of what a good article looks like. Unfortunately, I can’t provide you with a blueprint article to go off of. You do have to do some things yourself, and it’s not hard to find a well written article that sells something. In a nutshell, the article should be part review, part description and part sales. The articles that perform the least are heavy sales articles. They get flagged as spam – by real people. No one wants to feel like they’re trying to be sold on something. Good articles are informational and provide value. The type of article that you’d send to a friend. A lot of my articles are pure information on a basic subject. For example, I may write an article about how to fix your slice in a golf swing. I won’t promote some magic tool, but at the end of the article I’ll have a link to “Buy pre-owned Callaway golf clubs at 50% off!”. You’d be surprised how many people click through to your offer. Same goes for any other niche. As another example, I’ve written articles about “weight loss tips” for random things, and at the end of the article I’ll link to a weight loss offer. I’ve gotten thousands of dollars just using that technique.

That, in my opinion, is what the general pitch of the article should feel like.
Now, you have to structure your articles properly for each keyword. For very low search count and competition, it’s easier to rank because you don’t necessarily have to target the exact keyword density and word count of the other top 5 – 10 results because they didn’t target in the first place, and there’s no “trend”. However, you’ll find that with the more competitive keywords search engines have a trend for the top 5 – 10 results. For example, a keyword like “food” – the top results will have generally the same keyword density and word count. Sometimes there will be flukes (eg. The top 5 have an average of 663 words, and the 6th result has 7,000 words on the page) Same goes for keyword density. Some pages will have a 1 – 3% density and then one of the top results will have a 0% or 5% density. That being said, I usually ignore the “flukes” to get a better idea of the average keyword and word density of the pages that are currently ranking. And, each search engine will have different trends for different results. Which is why for the most part I have my writers write 3 articles for the top 3 search engines.

Now that you have a list with the competition levels for each keyword you grabbed, I then do batch research of averages for each keyword to send to my writers. To do this, I use SEO Studio from trendsmetrix.com which can be found at:

http://www.trendsmetrix.com/website-promotion-optimization-software/website-promotion-software.php

It took me about 3 weeks to find software to do exactly this. And even after I found them, I had to ask the programmer to edit the way it does the research. What this program does is “perfect” for what we are trying to accomplish.

It does the searches for each keyword inserted (just like a human would), and then gives you the averages of that keyword, as well as other data if you wish for just about any search engine(s) you want. Google, MSN, Yahoo, Ask, AltaVista and a bunch of others.
I then export the results, and send them to my writers. After of course explaining to them how to read the report and write the articles.
For the low competition keywords, as mentioned the averages don’t matter that much. I generally say 400 – 700 words, using the keyword ONCE in the first paragraph and ONCE in the title. That’s what I’ve found to work best for the long-tail – low competition keywords.

• Link building

After an article is submitted, I bookmark it on all the top bookmarking sites, plus a few more if it’s higher competition. Digg, stumbleupon, mister-wong, etc. You can get a list of the ones I use inside the SENuke program under Social Bookmarking.
For a few of those submissions, I use the keyword targeted in the title of the bookmark. And for the rest, I use related keywords.

I always give my writers 50/50 profit. They don’t know you’re actually really doing all the work with buying the domains, designing the site, hosting it, having the aff. network hookup – bumped payout, etc. So naturally, even if you tell them, they think they’re doing all the work. Even though they couldn’t do it without you. But, 50/50 is very fair, as you’re spending very little time publishing the articles and doing the linking to them. As mentioned, I made about $4,300 – half of that went to my writers based on their own generated commissions. I used Prosper202 to track each individual writer. I added them as “PPC Account” in step 1 in the setup. I keep in touch with the writers (but in the future when I work with 100 – 500 I obviously won’t be able to do that). And when you’re first getting started with them, you need to treat it as JV. And if you already haven’t guessed – you should have SEO sites for this. If you have 500 articles linking to one site – that’s a nice amount of links to just throw away on direct linking. Have an SEO site to go with this and you’re even more golden.

You should be submitting your articles to top article sites like GoArticles, eZineArticles, HubPages, Blogspot, Wordpess, other sites listed in SENuke, as well as a few other ones you can find with high PR’s.

Since this is such a long tutorial, I’m sure I left some small details out. If anyone has any questions, feel free to ask away. And if you have good results, post back letting everyone know how you did. I’m sure if I can generate $4k in one month with only two writers, anyone who goes nuts with this method and works with 10+ can make a lot more. Good luck!

I have been using Craigslist for a couple of months and making around $xxx per month with very minimum efforts.

Many of us think that we will get banned from CPA if we use CL, well, there is a way to do it without getting banned.

Just do it like this:

1. Login to your CPA Network site
2. Browse the CPA offers which allow email marketing
3. Now, with every offer, you will get the premade template.
(I mean they will give you body content and subject line.)
4. Go to craigslist and search for the people who are interested in it.
5. Make a list of their email ids.
6. Email them.

Important points to note:

1. When you send emails to them, dont put images and dont use html.
2. Try to use FREE offers, like email submits.
3. You will make around $10 for every hr you will work.
4. Conversion ratio will be low, so need of getting banned
5. Since you use offers which allow email marketing, so no need to hide the referrer.
6. Use creativity

How to send bulk emails?
Well, this part I will keep as a secret for some more days, and if I get good response from this Post then I will also share this part with you. I have got a way to email them which costs hardly $x per month and I am able to send more than 5000 emails daily.

php 150x150 Usefull PHP Scripts

One of the biggest factors of ranking high in the search engines is other websites linking to yours. And one of the most often asked questions  is……. Wait for it……….. How or where do i get them.

Cbox Links – CBox; a Tagboard software that bloggers and website owners can add to their website. It works much like the WordPress comments part of the wordpress script only its a simple shoutbox type script that you can throw a few links onto.
Google query to find an updated list of sites running this vulnerable software: allintext:[get a cbox]

Two Quick free links – Two simple ones that you have probably seen around a lot when your searching for sites is the aboutus.org and the wiki directory , these can just be thrown up in about 1 minute flat, and make sure in the wiki directory you add some related categories for better potential. They should get you indexed pretty fast.

Referer Spamming – Quite a simple method and a software called PRstorm thats found around this board should easily get you started, you add in the urls you want to referer spam, and the ones you want to be linked. This shows up in referer logs and you can easily get a fresh list by searching sites with referer logs with good PR or those sites with the My top referers list. Yes you can find PRstorm around this forum somewhere.

Unlimited free .edu and .gov links – Another great potential is edu and gov links as Google and others give authority over these types of domain extentions.
The ’site:’ feature in Google allows only results with that domain name or domain extension to show up. You can “hack” this feature to allow Google to find the most relevant university and government websites related to your sites.

Heres a few examples.
Google query: site:.gov blog [or site:.edu blog]
Results in: Google finds any .gov website that is running a blog or has a /blog/ directory. You can then visit these blogs and post comments (if you can find wordpress blogs like this one), and get hundreds of free .gov backlinks.
[Alternative queries: ‘blog’ ‘blogs’ ‘wordpress’ ‘comment’ ‘guestbook’ ‘2007′ ‘2006′]

Google query: site:.edu *your niche* + blog
For example: site:.edu internet marketing blog
The top result is a .edu blog that links to a non edu blog, but that blog is related and is PR3 and has edu backlinks. That is also a great relevant place to comment, even if it is not directly a .edu. On the other hand, the third result was a PR3 highly related .edu internet marketing blog with zero comments. That is easy .edu backlinks!

You can easily replicate these queries to fit your needs, and it is highly scalable. You can find .edu, .gov, and if you are lucky, .mil blogs. If you are not as picky, you can just search specifically for the blogs without the .edu or .gov extension, and you can find some high pageranked blogs on the first pages of results. Play around with it, enjoy it, it’s free! Then ofourse you know how to drop a link on the comments.

Edu Guestbooks – Guestbooks can too be quite good for dropping backlinks

RSS Feed Directories – This ones for the bloggers and forum owners too, anything really with an RSS feed, even if you fake an RSS feed and randomize it, it can still work.
Here is a good list of places to submit your feeds or you can use those automated software like RSS Announcer or Submitter, Or Bloggergenerators free blog and ping tools, theres a ton out there.

Tagbox Linkdropping – Another like the Cbox is Tagbox it works the exact same way.
Powered by Tagbox

Contests – Contests are a good way of word of mouth or bloggers blogging about it, another good example is a giveaway for say the person who sends the most traffic to you, you can use a link trading script to check whos best or a referer script to see which person sends the most, this will bring links to you if you work it smartly.

Digging – Digging the same as any network like such brings an incredible amount of backlinks and gets the buzz around fast.

Digg Comments – Digg comments can get you a few links and the latest comment is always usually at the top. So its an idea maybe to post on the popular diggs.

Commenthunt – Most of you already know this but commenthunt searches blogs without nofollow tags its a search engine type thing you can search for relevent blogs the url is http://www.commenthunt.com

Oggix.com – heres another shoutbox type way of backlinks Check This Query and get dumping links.

A Free EDU blog of your own – Get a free EDU blog of your own or many just by signing up heres the link. Free Edu Blog

Digitalpoint CO-Op Network – Another one that can work in some cases.
Digitalpoint developed a mass link exchange program called the DP Co-op Advertising Network (aff). After signing up, you then add 3-5 links on every one of your pages, and this earns you more linking power (coop weight). The more weight you have, the more links to your site you receive from other members in the coop. You can choose up to 15 anchor texts and there are over 30,000,000 available links in the network today. Sites have been using it to rank #1 for “Debt” “credit cards” “bankruptcy” and “loans.” Such a simple method is allowing them to outrank massive authority sites like Wikipedia, but the main concern is how long will this gravy train last and when will Google do something about it?

Google staff already know about the network, but have not yet done anything to prevent people from quickly ranking for popular terms. I just want to clarify that I would NOT recommend this technique to anyone that is going to be doing a long term link building campaign for their blogs, but I would recommend it for “made for adsense” sites, and even blackhat/greyhat temporary high profit earning sites.

Flickr Spamming – Flickr allows comments on photos taken by other people, now you can go wild and mass comment but i wouldnt recommend it, instead pick suitable pics about your niche and simply write a comment saying something smart like can i use this picture on my blog here, then drop your link, or go wild and do it anywhere.

Article Submission – If you have a product thats going to be released or a new site, its best to get the word around fast, using something like Article Equaliser or something that mass submits to a ton of article directories, this builds fast backlinks but sometimes takes time to get approved, and its best not using spammy type articles but interesting ones work better. And you’ll find that a lot of other sites scrape article sites for there own content. Giving even more backlinks.

Using Software – You can also use software like Internet Business Promoter, I prefer version 8, because it scans the engines for you, and gets links using keywords, to semi-automatically fill link submission forms to niche related directories. It works well and although is a slow process works perfectly

In this guide I will show you how you can earn some good cash if you are willing
to spend some time doing E-Whoring which really isn’t that bad.

Step 1 – Sign up for the Affiliate Program @ http://www.legalescortscash.com

This is one of the best affiliate programs to register for because they
offer weekly payouts and they don’t require you to have a website therefore
you will immediately be accepted. For this method the best program will be
the pay per free signup because they pay you  for every free
member that you refer to them. In my opinion it has the best conversion
rates.

Step 2 – Imagine your an Escort Girl

Now this is the reason for this being a black hat method. It’s not illegal or
anything, it’s just black hat. You will need to imagine that you’re an escort
girl. Go and find some sexy pictures of a girl that you think would attract
many people and save these pictures so that you can post them in the
advertisements which I will explain in a bit. (Please do note that escort girl
advertising is 100% legal so you don’t have to worry about anything plus
anyway you’re not an escort, your just pretending to be one to trick people
into signing-up under your referral link.)

Step 3 – MSN, AIM or Yahoo Messenger

You will need to create an account for any one of these messengers above.
You don’t have to use all of them but it would be an advantage because
then more people would be able to add you to their contacts list. Make sure
that the names that you create are sexy and seductive, so for example you
could use something like “hotsexyjenny” @aim @yim @msn or something
similar. Just make sure it sounds sexy.

Step 4 – Posting Your Advertisement

Now it’s time to post your advertisement on Craigslist. Describe the girl from
the picture as good as you can put your email address and messenger details
in the ad so that people can contact you. Use the pictures you have saved
previously to post the ad and make sure you have some spare ones so that
when someone contacts you and asks you for more pictures, you can
actually give them some. Once the ad has been posted you will be flooded
with free customers via email and messenger; it’s very easy. Do remember
that you don’t have to use Craigslist only, you can use all sorts of Classified
Ad Sites such as Gumtree, Kijiji or even other escort/dating sites such as
PlentyOfFish.com, AdultFriendFinder.com, etc…

You can see some examples of escort ads here:

Code:
http://honolulu.craigslist.org/search/ers/?query=w4m

And if you are going to use Craigslist then you should always post in the
Erotic Services section which can be located here (remember that this is just
an example, you can post your ads in different cities):

Code:
http://honolulu.craigslist.org/search/ers/?query=w4m

Step 5 – Talk to your client via Instant Messenger – Getting Your First Sale!

After you’re done with posting your ads on Craigslist or whichever other
classified ads site you have chosen customers will start contacting you.
Before you respond to your customer you need to have the correct attitude
towards this. YOU are the escort, so you will need to act like it. When you’re
talking to a guy online, YOU are in control. If he wants your phone number
he has to sign up. Tell him it’s FREE. YOU are the boss. The guy wants the
girl on the pictures and he is willing to pay hundreds of dollars to see her. So
the $0.00 free credit card fee from Webcams is nothing to him. Tell him that
“due to the law you are forced to go through verification websites” and you
“DO NOT play with little kids that can’t verify that they are 18″ because your
services and lifestyles aren’t cheap. Use your common sense, be creative
and say things like you live near them and you are interested in the things
they are; it’s a great way to get sales. The more creative you are the more
better you will be at this. The main thing is to say what it takes to get the
sale. Most importantly they must actually think you’re the girl they are
talking to. If they believe you, they will buy. Even small things matter. So if
you happened to Google the weather in that guy’s city, it could make
everything easier and give you a faster sale.

Font

When talking to customers, you are pretending to be an escort, who is a
woman on the pictures you have shown in the ad. You want to be as
believable as possible. Use pink, feminine font when talking to clients. Comic
Sans MS in bolded pink is very effective.

****ATTITUDE****

Have attitude! These girls ARE usually “bitchy”. Use winks and treat some of
them nice and some of them like this below:

Quote:
Girl: they don’t let anybody who doesn’t get verified so stop wasting my time if you are not willing to play by my rules…freeloaders can’t be choosy
Steven Burberry: ok
Steven Burberry: ill do it
Girl: hurry up before I change my mind
Steven Burberry: ok

Get The Sale Quick!

To get the sale in the most efficient amount of time as possible, you want to
convince the customer that yes, you are the escort, and get them signed up
as quickly as possible. Here is the order of questions you should ask in order
to get the sale quickly:

Quote:
Who they are? – Ask them A/S/L
What they want, Fs? – Massage, Greek etc
Where they want to Meet? In call, Outcall?
When do they want to Meet? – Tonight, Tomorrow?
How long they want? – Half an hour, Hour?
Price? – 300 roses an hour, 200 roses ½ hour. Negotiate only if they won’t pay that much to get the sale.
Send Your Webcams Link Code – Hey, they need you to verify on their site. Don’t worry it’s totally free and will only take a sec. You will get my phone number right after you verify. Go here: Paste your webcams affiliate link here. Let me know when you’re done k?
Close the sale – Ask them if they are done filling it out, Keep talking and get them to join. Close the sale. Block them and lol them.

Knowing How to Speak Escort

Often times clients who contact you will be knowledgeable in the field of
escorts. They may use terms you do not understand or are not familiar with.
These terms refer to services an escort provides and are used to disguise
the real meaning from law enforcement and other agencies. As an escort,
you should be familiar with all these terms. Below is a link to a website with
terms. You need to know these terms. Escort – A woman who is paid for her
time and companionship. DO NOT promise sex over Yahoo messenger. You
MUST use escort terms. Try being “Honest”, surprisingly it works. Say
something like this, “I’ll go to one of the next 20 guys that want to see me
bad enough that they don’t mind verifying for free. I’m not looking for a
cheapskate, sorry. I am speaking to 5 other potential clients right now I work
on a first cum first serve basis” This website has terminology for many
escort terms. If you are not finding one you need, simply Google the word

and you will get a definition:

Code:
http://www.beautifulcompanion.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=47

The Most used terms are BBBJ, Greek, GFE, FS, In call, Outcall, Cups. You
need to know these by heart. Go to the address above to find out what they
mean.

Key Selling Points

Use these selling points to influence a customer if they are unsure about
signing up with your website.

Quote:
1. They can join for a FREE, YES, FREE!
2. Your customers can find girls all over the USA and more!
3. These girls are all verified with current contact information.
4. Discreet billing, shows on bill as czbbilling. His wife will never know
5. All escorts are pre-screened, safe and secure. (No undercover cops acting like an escort)
6. ***On ABC News 07/25/07-Cops are setting up stings to catch guys. They use craigslist and use a girl with a phone number. For NO $$$ they will have the comfort and security of knowing they are going with a pre-screened and REAL escort. ***HUGE SELLING POINT***
7. If they do not want to sign up because of credit card fraud worries, inform them that it is a secure site and the same system is used at Amazon and BestBuy.

Step 6 – Block Your Customer!

Now that the customer has signed-up under you referral link, block him and
never talk to them again. Enjoy your sales and have fun.

Conclusion

This method can earn you a very nice income very easily; all you have to do
is take action and apply this method. Why is this method better than any
other E-Whoring method out there? Because you are posting ads for
targeted customers which are almost guaranteed to signup. In a normal
E-Whoring method you just target random people on adult chat sites etc…
but using this method you actually target people who are looking for girls
therefore the conversion ratio is much, much higher! Or at least it should be.

Anyway, this method is based on the legalescortscash program but instead
of doing it there you apply it to an affiliate which will pay you more.
I have not tested this method because I can’t post ads on Craigslist which
really works best for this and I don’t really have the time to E-Whore but I
do believe this method should work very well.

GOOD LUCK & ENJOY!

What is Cookie Stuffing? Cookie stuffing or cookie dropping is a blackhat online marketing technique used to generate fraudulent affiliate sales. It involves placing an affiliate tracking cookie on a website visitor’s computer without their knowledge, which will then generate revenue for the person doing the cookie stuffing. Income is generated when the affected user visits the target affiliate site and either creates an account or makes a purchase, depending on the terms of the affiliate agreement. This not only cookies, essentially stealing their legitimately earned commissions. How is Cookie  Stuffer used? Cookie Stuffer is so easy to use. If you can setup a blog you can use Smart Stuffer. Avoiding high (100%) CTR when dropping cookies

One problem with dropping the cookies on every visitor is that it will result in a 100% CTR which can be an obvious flag that something isn’t right. To avoid this you can take a couple of steps, depending on how much time you wish to put into it and your coding skills.

The simplest way to avoid this problem is to use PHPs rand() function to select a random number between(and including) 1-4 and then only output the code to drop the cookie if the number equals 1. This method won’t allow you to set an exact percentage because the number chosen will always be random. Out of 100 visits, it might select the numbers 2,3 and 4 30 times each while selecting the number 1 only 10 times.

Code sample:

  1. <?
  2. $random_number = rand(1,4);
  3. if($random_number == 1){
  4. echo “Our cookie stuffing code goes here!”;
  5. }
  6. ?>

If you have time then you might want to code something more advanced. For example:

  • Drop cookie only once per IP address
  • Keep a daily count of visitors and then limit how many people you drop the cookie on the next day. For example if you have 1000 unique visitors on Monday, on Tuesday you will drop the cookie on a maximum of 200 people.
  • Log every visitor and only drop a cookie on every tenth visitor
  • Etc.

Avoid getting caught forcing cookies on users

A lot of people have said, surely it’s easy to get caught forcing cookies on people if you have an iframe where the source is the affiliates page. This is true to some degree. You should take the following things into consideration:

  • The iframe method is the most basic and is intended as proof of concept rather than real world usage
  • If you have been an affiliate for awhile and your CTR isn’t ridiculously high then there’s no reason the advertiser would ever check your site for cookie stuffing

So what is a safer method than Iframes for dropping the cookie?

A safer method of dropping the cookie would be using a false image which redirects to the affiliates page that has the HTTP Cookie header. The browser will try to load the image, be redirected to the affiliate page and although it won’t process any html on the final page, it WILL read and process the HTTP headers… including the one which places the cookie icon wink Avoid the Cookie Stuffer Curse High CTR ...... It’s crucial that you redirect to the exact page that has the cookie header, so be careful if the affiliate site redirects a lot of times before landing on its final page so that you select the correct one which is dropping the cookie.

The simplest way to do this would be using a .htaccess file which says, if there is a reference to “tracking_pixel.jpg” then redirect it to xyz affiliate page.

.htaccess Code sample:

  1. RewriteEngine On
  2. RewriteRule tracking_pixel.jpg http://www.affiliate.com/BDHDHDHDJ/ [R,L]

You now edit your site template so that every page includes the image:

  1. <img src=”tracking_pixel.jpg” />

Now, even if the affiliate decides to come and take a look at your sites source code, they’re going to see nothing which catches their eye. If for example you had a website which sold clothes then the chances are you’d have a lot of images named blue_shirt.jpg and such like. So in this case you could easily name it red_shirt.jpg and have it mixed in somewhere in your template and they’d never know!

An even safer image cookie stuff..
Whilst it’s extremely unlikely, it is possible that someone checking your site for stuffing could try loading tracking_pixel.jpg into their browser and then they’d be redirected to the affiliate page and guess something is amiss. To combat this, instead of using .htaccess to redict to the affiliate page, we will instead tell it to treat a file named tracking_pixel.jpg as a PHP file.

.htaccess Code sample:

  1. <Files tracking_pixel.jpg>
  2. ForceType application/x-httpd-php
  3. </Files>

Now we put PHP code in tracking_pixel.jpg which checks the referring page. If the referrer is empty then the user has gone direct to our image and we should output a 404 error, if there is a referrer then the image has been included on a page and should be redirected to the affiliate site.

tracking_pixel.jpg code sample:

  1. <?
  2. if(!$_SERVER[‘HTTP_REFERER’]){
  3. header(“HTTP/1.0 404 Not Found”);
  4. } else {
  5. header(“Location: http://www.affiliate.com/BDHDHDHDJ/”);
  6. }
  7. ?>

So now just include the following code on any page that you wish to drop cookies from:

  1. <img src=”tracking_pixel.jpg” />

Also note that you’re not limited to including the image on your own site! You could also include it on forums and such like… basically anywhere that will allow you to place images. So if you signed up to a popular bingo forum you might decide to start becoming a regular poster and dropping cookies for all the well known bingo rooms.
